You're probably wondering about the name. It's quite a mouthful, but I think it's perfect. A quiddity (in no way related to Harry Potter) refers to the essence of a thing, it's "hairsplitting distinction." In this case, mine. I love this word because the idea of being so exactly unique is awesome to me. A quiddity leaves no room for doubt, it is a distinguishing quality. Awesome, right?
If you've ever seen You, Me, and Dupree you know all about the "-ness." All jokes aside, it's a great concept. A person's ness defines who they are.
